A guy was selling this bike yesterday at 1:30 PM outside a deli on 5th Ave between Union and Berkely. He wanted $300 for it. Said he had had it for 6 months and changed some components. It looked brand new and not fitted for the guy. Nothing he said added up and my gf and I strongly suspected it was stolen. Hope it was returned to its owner and glad I didn’t buy it!

THEY CAUGHT THE GUY! He’s in jail right now. Less than 24 hours later. Metrotech caught him on surveillance and the cops saw him trying to sell my bianchi in Fort Greene. The KHS is still missing, but now that they have the thief, so hopefully he’ll give it up. And apparently he didn’t go very far, which gives me hope that the KHS is still in fort greene.

gateway bike indeed but perhaps people like this need the firsthand experience @ not investing their money wisely. you get what you pay for!! some people disregard the fact that a bike in a box although new does not guarantee its of great quality- yes its cheap but usually cheap things are not reliable!
